West Chester, PA, April 30, 2002 - Harkins Audit Software, the inventor of the software auditing technique, has appointed Jason Olim as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors. Mr. Olim is an Internet pioneer, as the founder and former CEO of publicly-listed CDNOW, Inc. He will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to commercializing Real-Time Program Audit, the Company's breakthrough productivity tool for software engineers.

Mr. Olim brings extensive marketing, product development and organizational development experience to his new role. Previously, he co-founded CDNOW, Inc., an online music store, in 1994. Mr. Olim acted as the company's CEO for 7 years, bringing the company public in 1998 and managing its sale to Bertelsmann A.G. in a cash tender in August of 2000.

Mr. Olim is an Entrepreneur in Residence at The Wharton School in Philadelphia, PA. He has earned Entrepreneur of the Year awards from various organizations, including the Small Business Association, Arthur Andersen and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group. Olim is a frequent speaker at conferences and a guest lecturer at many business schools, including The Wharton School, Stanford's Graduate School of Business and Vanderbilt's Owen School of Management. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Brown University.
